Setting up Ziva+
Setup takes a few minutes. The Ziva Safe app isn't available yet, so Ziva+ works with your phone's built-in Emergency SOS.

Turn on Emergency SOS in your phone's settings.

Pair Ziva+ with your phone over Bluetooth, following the user manual.

Add them in your phone's Emergency SOS settings.

Keep Ziva+ within reach, near your phone, with Bluetooth on.

Test the SOS step (Ziva+)
Ziva+Your phone's Emergency SOS may call emergency services. Check its settings first, tell your contacts before you test, and avoid placing a real emergency call.

How do I activate the alarm?
Pull the pin out of the device. As soon as the pin is pulled, the alarm sounds.
How do I stop the alarm?
Push the pin back into the device. This stops the alarm and resets it, ready for next time.
What does Ziva+ do?
Ziva+ is the same pull-pin alarm as Ziva, plus Bluetooth. Pull the pin and the 130 dB alarm sounds straight away. When Ziva+ is paired with your iPhone or Android phone, it also triggers your phone's built-in Emergency SOS, which then does what you've set up in your phone's settings.
The Ziva Safe app isn't available yet. We'll announce it here when it is. No subscription, ever.
Does the device call emergency services or send my location?
No. Ziva+ itself doesn't call anyone, send messages or share your location. It triggers your phone's built-in Emergency SOS over Bluetooth, and your phone carries out the actions you've set up. What happens depends on your phone, its Emergency SOS settings, SIM and network.
What if Bluetooth is off or my phone isn't nearby?
The SOS step needs Bluetooth on and Ziva+ paired with your phone and nearby. If they aren't connected, your phone's Emergency SOS can't be triggered. The alarm still sounds when you pull the pin.
