Set up your Ziva+
Ziva+ connects to your iPhone or Android phone over Bluetooth. When you pull the pin, it triggers your phone's built-in Emergency SOS, which then does what you've set up in your phone's settings. The alarm itself sounds as soon as you pull the pin, with or without your phone.
The Ziva Safe app isn't available yet. We'll announce it here when it is.
Who does what
- The alarm
- Pulling the pin sounds the alarm. Over Bluetooth, Ziva+ triggers your paired phone's built-in Emergency SOS.
- Your phone
- Your phone then carries out the Emergency SOS actions you've set up in its settings. Ziva+ itself doesn't call or message anyone.

Step 1 Charge Ziva+
Charge it fully with the USB-C cable in the box.

Step 2 Set up Emergency SOS
On your phone, turn on Emergency SOS and add your emergency contacts.

Pair Ziva+ with your phone over Bluetooth, following the user manual in the box.

Step 4 Keep it connected
Keep Bluetooth on and Ziva+ near your phone.

Step 5 Test Ziva+
Test the alarm briefly in a suitable place. Your phone's Emergency SOS may call emergency services, so check its settings and tell your contacts before you test the SOS step, and avoid placing a real emergency call.

Choose your phone
Pick your phone to see where to set up Emergency SOS.
Setup steps for iPhone
- Open Settings and tap Emergency SOS.
- Choose how SOS starts, then check the call and countdown options.
- Add your emergency contacts in the Health app, under Medical ID.
- Turn on Bluetooth and pair Ziva+, following the user manual.
- Keep Ziva+ near your phone with Bluetooth on.

Setup steps for Android
- Open Settings and search for "SOS". On many phones it's under Safety & emergency, then Emergency SOS.
- Turn on Emergency SOS and check the emergency number it will call.
- Add your emergency contacts and allow location access if your phone asks.
- Turn on Bluetooth and pair Ziva+, following the user manual.
- Keep Ziva+ near your phone with Bluetooth on.

Troubleshooting

My phone's SOS didn't start
Check that Bluetooth is on, Ziva+ is paired with your phone and nearby, and Emergency SOS is turned on in your phone's settings. If it still doesn't work, WhatsApp us your phone model.
My alarm won't pair
Make sure Bluetooth is on and your phone is close to Ziva+, then follow the pairing steps in the user manual again. If it still won't pair, contact us with your phone model and software version.
The alarm won't stop
Push the pin firmly back into the device until it's fully in place.
Is my phone supported?
